Find Out Why This Celebrity Sees Divorce As A Lifesaver

the end

Different people have different opinions of divorce. Take former Hollywood super-couple Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, for example. While one views their divorce as a “failure,” the other has come to see it as a lifesaver.

We’ll talk about it in this issue.

Who sees their divorce as a lifesaver?

Shriver, a devout Roman Catholic, admits in her new book that while she grew up thinking that divorce was a sin, she now knows that she “couldn’t have been more wrong.”

What turned her attitude around?

According to Shriver, a conscious effort to reinvigorate herself is largely responsible for her shift in attitude towards divorce. After a combination of meditation and other forms of self-help, Shriver says, “While I do admire people who work at their marriages, I also admire those who chart a new way forward. And I (especially) admire those who manage to stay friends after their marriages are over – and aren’t afraid to try love again.”

Arnold has a different take on the divorce.

During an interview with CNN back in 2015 – merely a year after their divorce – Schwarzenegger said that he viewed the divorce as “one of the biggest setbacks and biggest failures” of his life.

Thankfully for him, the divorce did nothing to harm the relationship he continues to enjoy with the four children he and Shriver have together. He said the main key to that was keeping an open line of communication with them throughout and after the process.
